Assassin Fire Services is a family-owned small business established in 1988 that offers full service, state-of-the-art, fire and security protection equipment in the Golden Triangle region. In 1992, a tragic fire and explosion in Texas inspired them to develop a very specialized fire fighting machine. The advent of this device and others boosted recognition and sales for the company, and has been instrumental in bringing them to where they are today.

AFS was one of many companies hit by Hurricane Rita; the impact of the interruption of operations was:

  • Financial impact up to $100,000.
  • Sales dropped by 50%.
  • Loss of 50% of their workforce due to displaced associates.
  • Lack of available workforce in the region.

Mr. Cavaretta remarks: “This is where TMAC came to the rescue and introduced very effective assistance and methods. The expertise of you and your team was extremely helpful.”

The preliminary assessment performed by Jim Hsu and Luis de la Torre, TMAC Specialists, identified the challenges for the company, TMAC conducted the following:

  • Performed a Product Design Drawings and Feasibility Study.
  • Established new production methods and manufacturability to launch an additional product line.
  • Created a webpage to generate more business to reach the global market, with a complete catalog of their products.

  • TMAC provided an analysis of the machined components with equivalent parts for cost reduction.
  • Analyzed production methods and improved production processes.
  • Mr. Cavaretta said: “We have now progressed and completed a very sophisticated product incorporating an onboard computer control with robotic ability. It has been accepted by both the Prime Contractor and the Military”
  • As far as we can tell and after extensive research (Our product) is the only one like it in the entire world.”
